2009-10 Edmonton Oilers - Dustin Penner (White set 2, w/ A)

Thought I'll start the sales posts in here.

Up for grabs is the white Edmonton Oilers set 2 jersey from the 2009-10 season, worn by Dustin Penner. 2009-10 marked Penner's best regular season in the NHL with a total of 63 points, 38 PIM and +6.

The jersey is a size 58+ Reebok Edge 1.0 and features tagging from Meigray as well as the Elite Sportswear setstamp. The Meigray LOA will accompany the jersey, data matches the population report.

I always kept the jersey safe in a dry closet, but I'm not the first owner. It is covered in wear, mainly stick and puck marks, blue paint transfers and some small cuts/holes. The right sleeve features a small repair. The seam of the Oilers crest is slightly split at the top. Below the crest, there are a few pulled threads on the fabric. The "A" is glued on and, as you can see in the pictures, it shows traces of being removed and re-attached later. Penner didn't wear the "A" for the whole season, so this makes sense. The back of the jersey features a noticeable stain left of the number, the hems of the sleeves show similar grime. The inside seams and fabric show pilling, the numbers have some loose threads.

According to the Meigray population report, the Oilers wore their set 2 jerseys in 14 away games between November 8, 2009 and January 2, 2010. Penner played in every away game during this period, reaching a total of 13 points (6 goals, 5 assists). I managed to photo match the jersey to 9 of these games between Nov. 8, 2009 and Dec. 26, 2009, according to my best judgement.
