On playoff jerseys - I’ve never considered playoff jerseys more valuable than a regular season… and if given the choice I’d always go for the best wear regardless of when worn. Unique styles are an exception (ex. Blackhawks playoff mesh jerseys from the early/mid 1980’s or *obviously* Cup Final patched shirts).

Regarding the playoff jersey discussion, I agree with Sulli26. Sure, it's nice if a jersey has seen some playoff time, but if I can chose between a hammered regular season piece (okay, not that hammered anymore nowadays...) and a 4 game plaoff jersey with a faint puck mark on the sleeve, I'll choose the wear. Final round or even championship jerseys excluded, of course.

But for me it's (often) more about what happened in that jersey, regardless of when it was worn. First NHL set/season? Career milestone? Last game? These are the aspects that, for me, add additional value to a jersey.

And yes, great episode once again!

I think that once you roam around here enough you'll see this is "old school" in the best possible way. Think of it like those "throwback gaming consoles" that have all the games you grew up with from Atari to games for various platforms of the 90's early 2000's. Ask questions, PM, and engage. Maybe someone else learns from your question too.
