The hobby definitely feels slow and rising in price for no real reason other than "because". Talking with collectors who do other major sports collecting, it also seems that the hockey jersey/gear collecting community tend to have way more hoarder/vaulter style collectors. And jerseys move at a glacial pace compared to other sports, with one example being the NFL gamers community.
