Thank you for setting up this forum. No one should have to deal with all of Facebook's garbage just to participate in their hobby.
A few quick suggestions:
- It would be nice to have team and league specific boards - roughly mirror all the specialty groups currently on Facebook, e.g. NHL teams, AHL, ECHL, international, etc., etc.
- Perhaps make the “Winning Deals” section focused on requesting and submitting references so there is a good repository of information for people to check when they want to ensure their trading partner is legit. Presumably this is the intent, just maybe more explicit in the title.
- A board for events to announce expos, equipment sales, etc.
To add to the suggestion regarding the "Winning Deals" section: How about one thread per user (username as title) to collect all feedback? Maybe it could even be created automatically upon registration.
